As you will hopefully be aware, Lincolnshire County Council are developing an updated Transport Strategy for the Lincoln area which will guide thinking on transport upto 2036. The council’s consultation, which closes on 1 March, included a number of drop in sessions and stakeholder engagement events.
LLRA along with WERA (West End Residents Association) have been working with the Carholme Community Forum (CCF) to put a joint submission in to this consultation by 28 February. Carholme contains around 14,000 residents which can help to give us more influence than working alone as LLRA.
On Monday 25 February, LLRA have a final meeting with the CCF to define our joint submission to the consultation. If you have any suggestions on improving transport in Lincoln over the next 15 years, particularly approaches that would benefit the Long Leys and Carholme areas then please email your views to LLRA@long-leys.org by Monday and we will do our best to ensure these views are reflected in CCF’s final submission on the consultation.

You also have the option of responding to the consultation as an individual. See: Lincoln Transport Strategy Consultation
To help your thinking, below are three of the slides used at the stakeholder workshop to provoke thoughts on different aspects of transport around Lincoln. To clarify, the transport area is approx 10km radius of Lincoln city centre which would include Hykeham and Saxilby.

Please provide a more regular bus service for Long Leys Road with a service later into the evening.
