Local Landscapes and Hidden Histories is a fantastic initiative from the city council, exploring the history of some of our Open Spaces. Amongst other activities it offers:

Grandstand Local History Cafe Talks
South Common Birdwatching
16th September 8am-10am £5
Join expert birder and keen naturalist Steve Lovell for a morning of bird watching. You’ll have a chance to spot a variety of birds as you travel through the characteristic open grassland of South Common. The walk finishes at 10am and will be followed by a delicious breakfast (included in price). Booking is essential, please email us on LL.HH@lincoln.gov.uk to reserve your spot.
