Long Leys Cemetery, along with all other cemeteries in England, is currently closed for access as part of the laws covering the COVID-19 National Lockdown. Only those attending funerals or tending graves are permitted to enter a cemetery. LLRA Trial of Dial a Ride Transport Service for the Disabled & Elderly

Wates building Long Leys Road

Last week LLRA had a very positive meeting with Wates, to discuss resident concerns about the impact that pavement parking has had on pedestrians on Long Leys Road, around the Wates offices. As background, Wates have a short-term lease on the building, owned by Travis Perkins, for use as a regional hub.
