LLRA have been made aware that PC Coaches introduced a limited timetable on 1 February for the 777 Lincoln Saxilby Bus Service, which covers Long Leys. This was “to comply with government guidelines on essential travel”. The changes have removed three buses from the timetable during the middle of the day in both the Lincoln and Saxilby directions. The revised temporary timetable can be seen at the bottom of this page.
County Councillor Robert Parker (Carholme) is investigating the reasons for these changes, their likely duration and looking to see whether any can be reinstated in the short term. LLRA will update the community, when further information is available.
Dial a Ride Availability
In the meantime LLRA reminds residents aged 70 or over and those with a disability (of any age), that they have access to the Dial a Ride service for essential journeys including shopping and to local vaccination centres. The cost of these journeys will be fully funded by LLRA during February and March 2021. See details of how to access at LLRA Trial of Dial a Ride Service.
