LLRA has a further update from Steve and Ali Giles, builders and future residents of under-construction 30 Albion Crescent.
Good progress has been made on the build, targeted for completion by mid-April. However, the wet winter weather continues to create problems for bricklaying which has had to be delayed. This means the current diversion for the Albion Crescent/Close footpath will have to stay in place until mid-February due to health and safety requirements. The footpath will reopen when the scaffolding has been removed and there are no longer people working overhead. The alternative route continues to be via the main junction of Albion Crescent /Close.
Subject to having reasonably dry spring weather, landscaping and reinstatement of grass verges should be complete by mid-April as will the solar lighting on the footpath.
