Proposal to Adopt Path From Whitton Park

Following resident feedback, LLRA committee member Tony Wass is leading a project to make a formal request to have the unofficial footpath, that runs from Whitton Park to the existing Albion Crescent/Yarborough Road public footpath, adopted as an official public footpath (see map below).

The application for formal adoption needs to be supported by regular users of the path who are willing to state their use in writing. LLRA would also need to inform all owners of the land that the footpath crosses. If any resident or user of the path is happy to provide a statement of use, or has knowledge of the landowners over which the path crosses, please contact Tony at footpaths@long-leys.org or call him on 01522 807184.
