Temporary Closure of Uphill Section of Albion Crescent / Burton Road Roundabout Footpath

LLRA has been advised that Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) footpath team will be putting a temporary closure order on the uphill section of footpath 3 (the footpath that goes from Albion Crescent to the Burton Road roundabout by the Shell garage). This is a result of subsidence leaving the path unsafe, after the heavy rain over the weekend. The problem is caused by erosion of the path into the quarry.

LCC are currently reviewing possible solutions to this problem and will advise LLRA when progress has been made.
