LLRA Litter Pick, 12th September

Dear all, the community litter pick went super well!

Despite the short notice for meeting up, we were a team of 5 volunteers and collected 7 bags of general litter, a bag of nitrous oxide gas canisters, a light bulb, a saw and a tent amongst other random and dangerous items! A genuine thanks for those attending, to Travis Perkins for providing disposal and to the council for collecting the bags upon request.
The next litter pick is going to be on…
  • Saturday 17th October, 9.30 am to 11.30 am.
Meeting on the grass area near 132 Long Leys Road.
Please don’t feel obliged to litter pick for all this time.
