News on Former Curtis Factory Demolition

LLRA has been advised that the owners of the former Curtis bakery site have approached the City of Lincoln Planning Department to determine whether prior approval is required for the demolition of the main building and the smaller detached warehouse unit.

The limited details, which can also be seen online at the Lincoln Planning Portal, are:

  • Ref: 2026/0529/PAD
  • Determination of whether or not prior approval is required for the demolition of two existing buildings comprising a former food production factory complex, including bakery and butchery facilities with associated office accommodation, and smaller detached industrial/warehouse unit.

There are no details in the application on future plans for the site. LLRA will share more details when we have them.
