LLRA is delighted to announce that, following work between LLRA and Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust, a publicly accessible defibrillator is now available at St. George’s Hospital in Long Leys. The unit is registered and live with the Ambulance Service. This means that ambulance control can now direct 999 callers to the defibrillator location, issue an access code to unlock the unit and provide instruction on how to use it.
The unit is mounted at the Trust HQ building at St George’s Hospital just off Long Leys Road, LN1 1FS. The unit was purchased and will be maintained by Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust. For further details including a location map and directions see: Access To A Defibrillator In Long Leys.
LLRA would like to thank the Trust, with particular thanks to Chris Higgins, Operations Director, for responding so positively to this initiative.
