Salted Orange – doing a meal delivery service for the over 65’s.
Provides three home-cooked meals per day for £20 per week. These meals are nutritionally balanced and varied and will offer peace of mind for those struggling to get to supermarkets.

Doddington Hall – Farm shop home delivery service, they have been provided with a car by Soper of Lincoln Mini just for the current situation, and will deliver anything from their farm shop (but no loo roll!!) Call 01522 688581 between 9.30 am – 4.30 pm to discuss what you require. They can arrange to drop off on the doorstep or a designated safe place. Free delivery within a 10 mile radius of Doddington Hall, and £3 delivery for 10 + mile radius, with a maximum of 25 mile radius.

Domino’s pizza are doing delivery as usual but you can now chose the option ‘Contact free delivery’ so the driver will call when they arrive and ask where you want them to leave the food.

Tesco are doing Monday, Wednesday & Friday between 9 – 10 am is for vulnerable and elderly shoppers.
Asda are doing from opening time to 9 am for elderly shoppers.
Sainsbury’s have set aside the first hour of trading on Thursday’s for elderly & vulnerable customers.
Iceland are open for the elderly and vulnerable the first hour of every day, and food warehouse between 8 am and 9 am.
Waitrose have the first hour of opening every day set aside for the elderly and vulnerable.
M & S on Monday and Thursday’s have the first hour of opening set aside.
Morrison’s have Monday – Saturday, 9 am to 10 am set aside.
Transport:
Cathedral Cars Lincoln have advised that from tomorrow Sainsbury’s will be opening the first hour specifically for vulnerable groups. With this in mind Cathedral Cars have 2 cars free tomorrow morning to start, for the first hour to offer free return journeys to Lincoln Sainsbury’s for any over 70’s. Cathedral Cars are on 01522 394925.
HBW Taxi’s – Branston based Taxi Service also serving all surrounding areas. Transport still available and also provide other services such as collecting bits from shop, pharmacy etc and bringing if needed. Rovers return pet shop – Opening at 8 am for elderly to shop only, and will deliver pet supplies to those who cannot get out. Based at Wolsley Way, Lincoln, LN2 4SX. 01522 560696.
FeednWeed at Birchwood who supply pet & gardening supplies are delivering for free, if you are self-isolating, so long as you are in the Birchwood area, Doddington Park, so anything in between Skellingthorpe Rd to Doddington Rd. Call 01522 695528.

University of Lincoln Men’s Rugby Union have had their season cut short so are offering to help with posting mail, delivering shopping, walking dogs, a call and other tasks. Email them on rugbymen@lincolnsu.com
Brantley Manor Care home – supporting vulnerable persons, and those living with or have dementia. They will help with shopping, prescription collection, daily phone call check-up, weekly activity packs and help and support. Call 01522 543866.

Nationwide Bank are now opening between 8 am & 9 am solely for over 70’s or with underlying health problems.

Gas & Electric Pre payment meters – to anyone struggling financially and has less than £4 on their meter, and will not get money for a while, phone and ask for a ‘Fuel voucher’. It is £49 and can be applied twice a year, and you do not have to pay this back. A PIN is texted to your phone and you just show it at your top up shop with your gas card or electric key.
