Cycling Tour Of Britain: Advance Notice of Road Closure – Long Leys Road Wed 2 September

LLRA has been advised by Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) that the Tour of Britain Cycle race will be coming to Lincoln on Wednesday the 2nd of September. This will involve a full closure of Long Leys Road from circa 12 noon to circa 4 pm:

  • LCC advise: On the day of the race itself the road closure will commence between 12pm and 1pm and will reopen anytime between 3pm and 4pm on conclusion of the race. This will be a full road closure. Unlike the annual Lincoln Grand Prix a rolling road closure will not be in place, there will be no access during this time. Provision will be made for any emergences during the closure period.
