City Council Approve £150,000 Whittons Park Playpark Upgrade!

Whittons Park playpark upgrade

Great news for the Long Leys and West End Communities. LLRA are delighted to confirm that, on Monday evening (22 February), the Executive Team of City of Lincoln Council approved the release of £152,413 of Section 106 funds to upgrade the children's play equipment at Whittons Park. Winter maintenance activity by the City Council at Whittons Park has involved the addition of additional new gates into the park and the play area. As part of LLRA's work on a potential Right of Way across Newt Hollow and Hobblers Hole in Long Leys we have been in dialogue with some of the older residents of Lincoln. Santa is looking forward to seeing as many Long Leys residents as possible tomorrow (Tuesday) night and has asked children to draw a Christmas picture to put in their windows when he visits, so he knows where to wave.
