LLRA is designated as a Neighbourhood Forum and has been developing a 2021-2040 Neighbourhood Plan for the Long Leys area. Work on this was suspended in March 2020, due to the impact of both COVID-19 and the ongoing review of the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan (CLLP). On 28 February 2022 a Community Right to Build project for a shop, community hall and allotment growing centre was launched. See Shop, Community Hall & Allotment Growing Centre Project.
