Gary Stimson (Chair)

Gary has lived in the Lincoln area from childhood, and on Carram Way with his wife Sharon since 2005. He works for a local hi-tech manufacturing company, and has roles covering business development and technology research. He loves touring the UK, is a keen all-season walker, a fair weather cyclist, and is interested in anything that involves clever engineering.

Jackie Ward (Treasurer)

With a background in local government and accounting, Jackie is recently retired and has happily swapped work for volunteering for a local charity tackling homelessness in Lincoln. With a passion for wildlife and nature she can be found walking locally with the ramblers or travelling further afield. When not in her garden, you may come across Jackie when exploring the Cathedral area of Lincoln.

Jon Davies (Secretary)

Jon has a background in marketing. He has an interest in community engagement and recently completed an MSc. in Sustainable Development. He knows a thing or two about reducing energy bills. He can sometimes be seen dog walking on West Common or gazing at stars at Lincoln Astronomical Society.

Jim Hanrahan

Jim is originally from Birkenhead, Merseyside and is a Chartered Town Planner. He has lived in Long Leys for three years and in Lincoln for 25 years. His most recent work experience is principally in Government, as Director of Economy, Leisure, Tourism & Arts for the City of Lincoln Council and as Town Planner to the Department of Health & NHS Improvement based in Leeds & London. Until he stood down, in May 2019, Jim was a City of Lincoln Councillor and Chair of the Planning Committee. Jim is currently chair of Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School Governing body. He currently works as Town Clerk to Caistor Town Council, near Market Rasen, and is leading on their Neighbourhood Plan’s first review. Spare time involves drinking coffee, real ale and following Tranmere Rovers FC his hometown club.
